Hi. I've never waxed myself in my home. Wanted to buy wax and try it but I want to know if there's a kashrus issue. Like do I need wax with an ou, does it exist with an ou? Can I microwave it or put it in a pot? Thanks

If you buy the pots that you are supposed to heat in the microwave then yes you can.
Regarding hechsher I hold of the opinion that it is not food so it doesn't need a hechsher but aylor.

I remember once asking a shaila. The problem is that it could possibly make your microwave treif so they told ne to keep the lid on however the company said you need to melt with the lid off. So I never bought it. U can buy a little heater for wax...but ask your LOR. Not everyonr holds the same way

I had the same issue so I bought a small heater that I warmed it up on.
