Predicting 12" of snow/ice and heavy winds... bleah. I'm sure they're going to wait until evening to get a better idea of where the storm is heading but I'm willing to place bets now.

They get my hopes up, get me all riled up, excited for a day off. And then poof! Just a layer of watery slush. This time I'm wiser! Not letting them play with me like that 
But please if somebody could make this happen please do. Pretty please. I've got a lot to do and sleep to catch up on.

That's not what I'm seeing on my forecast for NYC. Thursday shows precipitation stopping before anyone gets up in the morning, and winds around 10 mph. Temps low 40s. Wednesday I'm seeing low 30s, precipitation from pre-dawn through the night, and wind 16-20 mph (that's a LOT of wind!) throughout the whole day. Does not look fun.
