Can anyone suggest any very clean, but not super old fashioned, movies, shows or documentary ideas?

Family values or messages are nice, please just only rated-G kind of things though.

I don't care for entertainment, but I'm out of shape, & just looking for an option like this to help me distract myself & exercise regularly (like on a treadmill) thank you in advance for any suggestions!

Ideas I've liked are things like:
Ushpizin
Various documentaries like on science or historical figures
Some cooking shows can be interesting

Can't think of much else though...

I dont know about all of these, but I would not categorize Friends as very clean. Not at all, and I haven't seen that many episodes.
The middle is about 99% clean and I've seen them all.

OK, don't laugh, but I really love My Little Pony. The writing is very intelligent, the plotlines are fun, and all the characters demonstrate good middos when they face a challenge. I started watching when DD was little, and I was hooked!

If you have Netflix, and subtitles don't bother you, you absolutely must watch Samurai Gourmet. It is such a sweet series. A retired Japanese businessman finds himself with nothing to do but wander all over town discovering new places to eat lunch. On the way, he discovers new aspects of himself, and grows as a person. His wife is pretty awesome, too. I don't want to give too much away, but it's really, really good. [b]

British Bake Off- wonderfully wholesome and enjoyable
Planet Earth -stunning visuals /educational nature series

Also, if you've never seen them, all the Disney/Pixar films (Finding Nemo, Ratatouille, Wall-e) are movies I enjoyed immensely as an adult

My girls enjoyed watching Twelve Angry Men. Very educational.

Helen Keller movie - forget what it was called - was also very nice.

My little one enjoyed The Five Little Peppers.

It's not movies or shows but can def be used to occupy yourself on the treadmill: watching TorahAnytime. So many topics and speaker styles to choose from, some very engaging, some quite entertaining.
