Also a kids show but I really liked Gortimer Gibbon's Life on Normal Street. It's really quirky and funny.

Exodus - historical fiction based on Leon uris novel. Really speaks to me cuz my mother came to Israel on a boat like that in 1947 too. There's a little romance, but otherwise clean.
