For some reason I have a mental block when it comes to dessert on shabbos and can never think what to make.
Please share what u serve for dessert and a recipe if possible.
TIA.

last week: apple crumble, chocolate sponge cake*, and chocolate chip cookies. (post pesach celebration of flour Smile plus we had family over)

This week: Almond slice, maybe some chocolate cake as well.

We always have fruit and sometimes (bought) ice cream with dessert.

Other things I make: lemon pie. (2 minute recipe and people love it) chocolate chip sticks. Brownies*. Brownie cake*. Chocolate cake. Sponge cake with berry sauce*. Pecan pie*

The recipes with a star are from the spice and spirit. Let me know if you want any others.

If you're looking for a lemon pie recipe: Not sure anymore whose recipe this is, but I got it from this site and its really good and insanely easy! I halve it because we don't need 2 pies and it comes out fine.

Easy lemon pie

Mix together

16 oz pareve whip
1 cup sugar
8 eggs
1/2 cup lemon juice
optional: lemon zest

mix all ingredients together, no need to whip the cream. Pour into 2 graham cracker crusts or pre - baked frozen pie crusts. Bake 30 minutes on 350 until just set. Freezes great and can be served semi frozen if desired.

Friday night - apple crisp, sometimes with (store-bought) parve icecream on the side

Shabbos day varies. Anything from seasonal fruit like watermelon in summer to cut pineapple or a fruit salad.....or chocolate mousse if I made some, or a chocolate chip pie, or cupcakes with melted chocolate centers, etc...

Take multicolor froze fruits and cut into chunks ( I like using the lime, pineapple and grapefruit flavors) optional add fresh orange chunks and diced kiwi... absolutely the most refreshing dessert ever! Always a winner

choc chip sticks recipe from kosher pallette.

cookies are big fat chewy chocolate chip cookies from allrecipes with a couple of modifications: 1. about half the choc chips because we don't like so many 2. refrigerate dough for an hour or longer before shaping and baking. 3. I use margerine to make them pareve although the butter version is even better!

Oreo ice cream pie, so so simple and so so yummy:
crush choc sandwich cookies into chunks (put into ziploc & smash).
put into chocolate graham crust & pour 16 oz whip topping (not whipped) & freeze! No mixer dirty, no messes! (I use paskez brand regular choc sandwich cookies, not the imitation oreos. Makes a difference in taste.)
