Goodness gracious! Yum! Can I come to you guys for dinner? These posts are making me feel a bit dysfunctional....

We have very picky eaters. I don't bother with side dishes because they don't eat them. If it was up to my kids, they would eat cold cereal and nothing else.

Sunday: French toast or scrambled eggs
Monday: mini pizzas and yogurt
Tuesday: Chicken
Wednesday: Pumpkin & cottege cheese pancakes
Thursday: Probably a bbq: hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken
Friday: chicken, chulent, potato kugal

We basically repeat this menu over and over again with very little variation. I find it very distressing to spend my very limited free time making meals that no one will eat. When I have enough time to think about it though, the lack of variety bothers me... but I choose not to battle with my boys on this one.

Sunday - Shabbas leftovers
Monday - bread, sunny-side up eggs, vegetable salad
Tuesday - chicken legs, potatoes, string beans --- all in one pan in oven! (This is usually my Thursday night supper, but I switched it this week because of Lag B'omer.)
Wednesday - salmon patties, rice spaghetti, creamed spinach
Thursday - grill in a park: burgers, corn on the cob, etc.

What do you flavor your chicken legs, potatoes, string beans with?

What hechsher does the Fleishmans pizza yeast have?

It has a OK. Rapid rise yeast will work just as well, I bet its the same product but with a different lable. But use the recipe on the pizza yeast pack.

Can you post the recipe?
I have instant dry yeast at home. Would it work with that?

Interesting to see how conman pizza is most people had it on their menu. Pizza dough takes five min to mix and them I let it rise. Homemade is a lot cheaper then bases. Bases are $3 and I need at least 3. Homemade is around $1-2 for a double batch instead of $9.

Would also like a recipe for that. Sounds so easy and just the stuff my hubby loves!

How long should I let it rise if I use regular yeast?

Curious how much soup everyone eats! Is it to get veggies in your little ones? Once it’s warm out, I can’t do soups!

I love soup for my lunch but my kids really dont like it unless its chicken and my baby needs to be fed the soup which he hates so we dont do it for a meal.

Same here. We don't do soups or stews once the weather gets warm.

We do soup all year round, sometimes hot, sometimes cold. Always hot soup Friday night.

Tonight we had mango gazpacho and lentil burritos ( with Brown rice and guacamole) and strawberries
