I very much enjoyed dinner at 656 Ocean (the name of the restaurant is the same as its address: 656 Ocean Ave in Long Branch). It's walking distance to the boardwalk; not far from Ocean Palace at all. I highly recommend that you make reservations: (732) 728-9656.

Across from Monmouth Mall is Nordstrom Rack. There is also an Off Fifth nearby. Another upscale shopping place is The Grove in Shrewsbury. Enjoy!

Op did you end up going? How was the hotel?
Can anyone recommend dairy place for breakfast and lunch and fleisig for supper? Does anyone one know if the boardwalk is already crowded this week? Any other things to do in the area?

Yes 656 is nice...stingers...in the same place chilled bar take out....dougies...chang mao (Chinese).. butchers steakhouse... theres I a milchig place fancier but I forgot waht its called...theres regular pizza shop there too if u want. Theres monster mini golf which is fun to do....also urban pops is a heaven ice pop store all these cool flavors fun to try...enjoy!!
