I’ve always squeezed fresh lemon juice, but am considering going bottled. Or mostly bottled. Squeezing in advance of Shabbat can be a pain.

I mostly use lemon juice for salads and Techina.

What do you think of bottled lemon juice? Favorite brands in the US?

It’s not the same
Also, bottled is stronger, I think they may add absorbió acid
I only use REAL lemon brand when I use bottle.
I strongly suggest NOT to use the kosher brands, yuck.

I use it for convenience. It doesn't have quite the taste of fresh but I just can't keep buying lemons for the small amount of lemon juice I occasionally use. I look for brands that literally just contain lemon juice with no additives. I think B'gan makes one.

Fresh is always better but I feel like in a salad dressing you can’t really tell so much the difference. I believe you are permitted to squeeze fresh lemon directly into the salad or food and then wouldn’t have to prepare it in advance.

Of course fresh is best. But I really like ReaLemon brand and use pretty often for convenience.

I use Lakewood brand and it tastes like you just squeezed a fresh lemon or lime. It’s the only kind I will buy bottled.

Just btw u can squeeze a lemon on shabbos if you are squeezing it onto a solid. So to do it straight onto the veg is no problem. ..

That's is correct. I think it also has to be right before the meal is starting. Ask a rav for the details.
