What is the going rate for a wedding gift these days? It's something people don't talk about and now I think I may have been too cheap. I went to a wedding alone (my husband is in aveilus) and I gave $150. Is that too little? We are middle aged, professional, successful. I'm not looking for the perspective of young newly marrieds/kollel couples etc.

That’s quite generous for one person. In my circles $100for a couple is very nice.

I agree that $150 for one person is very generous. We are also middle aged and we give $125 to $150 per couple.
