We are going to board a Yeshiva bochur for a local yeshiva in Elkins Park, PA. Does anyone have a ballpark idea of what is appropriate to charge? Own room, mostly snacks, maybe 2-3 meals a week.
Thanks for your help

My boarder pays $450 per month. TMy boarder eats all meals with us, though— including shabbos.
In addition to hosting a boarder, I also have a child who boards in another city. This child comes home every shabbos, goes back every Monday am. In addition to the shorter time spend in the house, we also send a ton of food back on Monday—- breakfast foods, lunch foods, snacks, etc... really the only meal that the host family fully provides is dinner 4x per week. For this child, we pay $250 per month.
I live in a high cost of living area in the east coast.
I would think that in your scenario, $250-350 would be appropriate.
You can PM if you want more info.

OP, search boarders. I paid more than that and it was no shabbos and New Jersey.

Thank you for the replies. I see that based on my situation between $300-400 would probably be appropriate. Thanks for the search suggestion, new to this and it was helpful.
