Anyone know of hotels near a minyan anywhere in Poconos? Would love to go for shabbos and then stay a couple of days. Either Lancaster area or anywhere else. Not looking for Bushkill falls or a paid program...just a regular hotel near a minyan. Figured there must be tons of minyanim now but not sure where to find them!

Lancaster is not in the Poconos.
You probably won't find minyan in the poconos over shabbos. Maybe in Tannersville, but probably not.

No, they're not in the same area. Poconos is in northeastern PA. Lancaster is in southeastern PA.
Don't people look at a map before deciding on an area to visit? That's always the first thing I do.

Um no...why does that help you? I go in this order - locate a minyan, then choose a hotel then select attractions. Obviously I'm starting off in an area I know has appeal to me

SCranton pa is between the two-hotels in walking distance to the chabad shul

minynim:
- East Stroudsberg (not sure if there is a minyan for shabbos)
- Tannersville, NY
- Hunter, NY
- Scranton, PA
