I am in Israel.
My doula charges and I have paid her in full.
Do I also give her a small present like a box of chocolates? With a handwritten note?
Or is this totally not the norm?

I paid my doula. I love her dearly (she's also a friend) but I didn't see the need for buying a gift. Do you also buy gifts for everyone who comes to fix something in your house? I love my AC repair guy possibly more than my doula but he doesn't get a gift when he fixes my AC.
