If I want to get a construction loan, I see they will only allow a mortgage that is less than 28 percent of your income.
My husband is self employed , do they look at paystubs or tax return?

the money moving from the LLC to the personal account is the 'paycheck'.

Assuming he is the sole owner of this LLC its all on his 1040 tax return anyway. Are you worried about providing the 1040?
