Working on wording for Bar mitzvah invitations- we are usually a little out of the box with our wording.
We are up to the lines that mentions our name and the grandparents name etc. For our older children we were able to put the great grandparents names in, but unfortunately these past 2 years were difficult ones and there are no great grandparents left. It feels weird to me to leave them out.
Our son's bar mitzvah is pashas yisro and I wanted to do some kind of idea dealing with the parsha, maybe honoured (like honor your parents,) but I don't know how to get to great grandparents. DS said since its matan torah- what about using the word AWE like
"AWE"some parents
"AWE"mazing grandparents
"AWE"ways remembered and missed great grandparents
The other idea he said was...
Most sensational and missed great grandparents
inspirational grandparents
celebrational parents..
older ds-said it was not funny to make fun of the deceased.. I thought it was kind of cute...
Ideas???
