DD was home the last two days from school because she has strep. Technically she's been home since Friday after school and driving me insane!! I don't know who was happier to see her going back to school today!
She wouldn't stop ploppeling the entire day and when I just said hmmm mmmmm and nod my head she would get upset and yell: MOMMY, LOOK AT ME AND TALK TO ME, DONT JUST NOD YOUR HEAD!!!
Now I can talk freely to my friends and not have someone commenting and asking questions!!

That's a good idea! My son has been home since Friday with a horrible stomach virus that he can't seem to get over. Maybe I'll ask for the menorah supplies....maybe making the menorah will make him less kvetchy.

(to be honest - the title made me think of a situation that's much worse - maybe she dropped out of HS and found a better misgeret? sorry that I thought the good news was much more dramatic than it was.)
