There is a very good recipe in the purple spice and spirit cookbook. Do you have that cookbook?

The Balabustas Choice has one. I've made it a few times and almost tastes like the bought ones:
Perfect Black and Whites
Cookies:
2 sticks margarine
2/3 Cup sugar
2 tsp vanilla sugar
1 tsp salt
2 eggs
2 Cups flour
Cream margarine and sugar. Add vanilla sugar and salt. Add eggs one at a time while mixing. Add flour and mix until smooth. Add extra flour if necessary. Refrigerate dough 1-2 hours
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Form mixture into 1 1/2 inch balls. Place balls into lined cookie sheet leaving space between cookies for rising. Flatten balls slightly.
Bake 8-10 min
Cool cookies before adding icing
White icing:
1 Cup confectioners sugar
1/4 tsp vanilla sugar
2 Tbsp boiling water
1 Tbsp oil
Dash lemon juice
Brown icing:
3/4 Cup confectioners sugar
2 Tbsp boiling water
4 tsp cocoa
3/4 Tbsp oil
Mix ingredients for each icing until smooth.
Spread white icing on half of the flat side of each cookie and brown icing on the other half.
Allow icing to cool and dry before storing the cookies.
