My 3 yr old dd puts her tongue on top of her mouth to wipe"" her mouth from eating and for excess saliva(she has low oral...control and gets speech therapy).
Now she has a rash there. Yes, of course I tell her to stop but does anyone have any good methods to stop this like if theres something bitter to put so her tongue will instantly repel"" from???
Pls share your experience with this.
Thanks.

If she cannot stop her behavior/ she doesnt even know she is doing it:
ask your health food store if you could give her NAC. (open the gelatin capsule and pour into her juice). This is an amino acid that calms the brain into stopping compulsive behavior like lip licking, nail biting, hair pulling.
