5 months. caling dr. someone please tell me baby will be ok. I noticed irritation yesterday. decided if didnt get better would go to ped. this morning it was still outie. chaned diaper again and its completely retracted. neverwithb my other boys!

Side track: DS is my eldest, 2, and has a *very* small eiver, relative to his peers. Really just kind of peeks out, sometimes it's completely invisible. I used to think it was just pushed back in his baby fat, but he's been lengthening out, yet it hasn't changed.
Normal? Not normal? Anything else I should be looking out for if it isn't? Is it worth a trip to the doctor?

My baby had it. My family would make so much fun when I would change his diaper lol. He was very chubby.... But now he's older and thinner and totally stopped going in.

It often looks like this because the baby is chubby and the ever sinks into the chub. This will change as he grows.

Microphallus? Speak to a dr bec I think it can be addressed before puberty.

It’s hiding because chubby babies have a “fat pad” (actual term) that puts pressure on it. Once your baby starts walking and slims down, it’ll go back to normal. My doc recommended cleaning it just once a day, unless there was a major mess in the diaper.

This happened often with one of my boys. Sometimes there was no tip visible. Dr showed me how to push it out during diaper changes.
There was really nothing wrong, it just looked so weird.
As dr predicted, he will outgrow this. He is 6 and totally looks regular now
