I've got some therapists, Babysitter, Chesed girl helpers, girls who take out my special needs children, Morahs and more, to give gift for Mishloach monos. (Yup, thinking Purim already!)
I am giving them a pretty lotion set. Adding a chocolate on home made wrappers. I'm looking for a "poem or some sweet words" to add as a token of appreciation.
(Maybe written on the chocolate bar wrapper? Or on stationary paper?)

Writers, Welcome aboard... Wave

Just write a heartfelt note. Poems are childish and artificial. I don't know why grown women think that forced rhymes are somehow better than honest communication.

Sorry to be amother, but I'm pretty vocal about this in real life.

Dear [Name of Chesed Girl],

I so appreciate every time you come to take out ______. I see his/her face light up when you come, and I am so grateful to have that quiet time when I know he/she is being cared for by someone responsible, and even more, someone who loves and appreciates him/her.

Please enjoy these chocolates and lotions, an opportunity to feel some of the sweetness and pleasure you bring into our lives.

Wishing you a very happy Purim, may Hashem shower you with endless bracha!

Love,
The _________ Family

Or in poem form:

Dear _______

Like chocolate, your visits
Give our lives that needed "sweet"
So please enjoy these chocolates
In our little Purim treat.

It makes us feel so cared for
Each visit that you do
So please enjoy these lotions
And pamper yourself too.

Without your time and dedication
We'd never manage to get by,
In turn we hope your Purim's filled
With bracha ad bli dai!

Thank you so, so much for all you do for us.
Love, the __________ Family
especially _____, ______ and _______

Thanks a million, Aubergine. The words are very sweet.
This poem is beautiful. These are just the words I need to Express my feelings to the chesed girls taking out my precious kiddies.

I need the same idea for mothers helpers (paid). And for her Morahs & therapist.

Btw, I don't think expressing your inner feelings of appreciation written in poem style is childish. I personalize each poem for each person receiving the gift.

Anyone who has a nice way of writing a note of appreciation, please share.

Personally, I don’t read long poems unless the first line or two grips me. A note or letter I will read more than once, I will even read it if it’s not written well and with bad grammar.
(But that’s just me)

The end of the year notes we send to teachers have a few things the kids have told me they like about the teacher and three things I have to thank her for.

I don't write long poems. Im looking for just four to eight lines, but like to bring my appreciation across in a personal way, poem style rather than simple Thank you for...

Any cute ideas to bring out our sincere appreciation for their service?
Need for:
*Speech therapist (kid doesn't speak yet),
*OT, PT Therapist
*Mothers helper
*Kindergarten Morah and assistants
Looking forward

To be sure it’s sincere - perhaps you should write the note to each of these care providers, and someone here can turn your words into a poem.

I do it the opposite way. I would like to hear overall from others who have a knack for writing well, and than I personalize it to each person. Some people just have it within them, they're just great at writing and can bring a point across in a few words in no time. For me, I need to sit a long time over it and wrack my brains to bring out some words. Though once I have a basic, I can work around with it and dress it up according to the individual persons specialty.

We'd like to express our gratitude & heartfelt emotion,
Therefore, kindly accept this sweetly scented lotion,
For you "lathered" us, with your warmth & loving care,
All that you've done, is close to our heart & so dear!
You've always added that special, "smooth, silky" touch,
We are so grateful, and appreciate it so much!
May Hashem grant you all the best,
'Cuz you are a notch, above the rest!

Are you doing this for your or for them?

If you want them to feel appreciated, just write a proper thank you note.

If you're just doing it to make yourself feel good, by all means write a silly meaningless rhyme.
