Does anyone have any experience with a hair product that would keep the “style” of a straightened shaitel without being to heavy when you feel it? I feel like regular hairspray is too heavy. I want my shaitel to feel normal but to have a product in it that lengthens the life of its straightness. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I use Olaplex Hair Perfector No-3. After washing, before conditioning, leave it for 20 min, then wash it off and then use your regular conditioner. Air dry and I use flat-iron. I have a Russian human hair sheitel, naturally wavy. Holds very good and repairing the hair. Love it.

Get any serum with Keratin in it. Apply before flat ironing.

Thanks! So you’ve personally found keratin based serums to keep the hair straight?

Are you flat ironing the wig yourself or are you trying to maintain the style your SM did (like using hairspray)? If it's the latter then it'll definitely help with frizz control but not necessarily straight.
If you're doing it yourself then yes putting in a keratin or any anti frizz serum before applying heat will seal the hair a lot better and keep it straight.

I’m doing it myself so I’ll try the serum. Thanks so much!
