Is there an alternative I can use instead of psyllium husk on pesach?

Metamucil is psyllium husk (powder form) and IIRC, it was listed as okay on the Pesach lists in the past. You should checked into that.

Can Metamucil be used in recipes the way guar gum is?

If psyllium husk powder can be used for guar gum, than Metamucil can be. I have no idea if the two are equivalent.

Sorry I meant Xanthan gum. The recipe calls for 2 tbsp psyllium husk and Google says if you don't have any psyllium husk fiber powder or don't like using it, try replacing it with chia seeds, flax seeds or xanthan gum and I'm trying to find something appropriate for pesach.

Sorry, no idea, but I think it may be easier to find psyllium husk powder for Pesach (assuming Metamucil is still good) than the alternatives unless they are okay without Pesach certification. Why don't you discuss all of these with your local vaad (or call one of the big ones that are easy to talk to like the Star-K or the cRc)?
