Can you tell me what to expect in a hotel spa in Miami.
I will be vacationing and have never been to a spa.
Are most spas mixed or separate?
Can I go have a massage without doing anything else?
What do people wear?
Is there nudity?
Will massage be in a private room?
Will I need to request a female or is that standard?
I just want to know what to expect before I decide if I want to go or not.

Most mixed. Need to request woman masseuse and private room. Make sure not mixed dressing and waiting areas. Tell them you want a private treatment room with a female masseuse. Be aware that sometimes all are in robes?waiting for treatment.

A couples message is that you're together with DH in a room, you may take a female masseuse & DH a male. Yes, chances are that the male masseuse might see your back.

Amother pewter, it is probably against halacha for a male masseuse to see your back but you need to ask your own Rav.
