Please share your experiences that still make you cry from laughter, or places you recommend to all your friends!
Thanks!

Sleep a full night in my bed.. yes, I live in NYC!
Really I can’t think of anything special. Sorry, it’s a big city with lots of noise, people and garbage.

Standing on an overcrowded rush hour train highly pregnant, barely 2 centimeters away from a huge man dressed like a hippie that asked me 'lady are you pregnant down there'? I was extremely uncomfortable but I guess I managed to nod yes because he made someone on the train get up and give me a seat.

Really liked visiting Ellis Island!!
But I still think Coney Island with the beaches and amusement parks is an amazing place that kind of gets underrated.

I love riding the subway. There’s usually some kind of cool entertainment...
breakdancing around the poles, 3 older guys tap dancing on the moving train, a haunting melody played on an interesting bamboo instrument by a traditionally garbed Chinese man, a guy rapping about how I should never give up. I love it.
“Hey everybody! How you doing today. I am just here to remind you all that you are amazing. It’s a beautiful life. Thank you G-d! Three months ago I got thrown out of my house. I won’t let it bring me down. I want to earn my money, so please enjoy this original song I wrote and I would appreciate if you could help me out. I haven’t eaten much today and I want to finish my degree so I can get back on my feet. Alright, folks!” *breaks out into song*

Yes! I love that block. They also have a virtual reality place across the street.
(And a book store sounding boring? That’s a paradox!)

It was really fun! We went as a group, so it was just us. I don't remember there being any singing. It was a few years ago but I seem to remember all the actors being male. I think there was one female actress at the end who was not dressed so tsnius. But they probably change it up a lot, so you could have a different experience then I did. This was the regular NY one. Not the village one which is different.
If you go with just one other person you will probably be in a group with other strangers that sign up at the same time as you.
Enjoy!

Sitting on Santa's lap at Macy's when I was three years old. I did not cry from laughter, I just cried. Yes, I am a BT....and proud of it!
Making a disclaimer: No, I do not recommend it!

Slumming around the East Village.
The Metropolitan Museum of Art.
Tons of great concerts. I used to go to at one or two shows a week.

Lots of really great suggestions here.
May I add: The Opera House in Lincoln center is magical. There's a dairy restaurant in the area which is also wonderful.
Anyone remember the name?
The Intrepid
South Street Sea Port, and the historical area below Wall Street

Kayaking. There are several boathouses around the city that offer free kayaking over the summer as a service to the people of New York. There are at least two on the west side of Manhattan, in the Hudson. One is right in the shadow of the Freedom Tower (with views of the Statue of Liberty, etc.) and one is higher up.
