Sweetener is always a chemical poison storm. Use sugar. Yes. I said that.

Liebers Sweeties tastes best / most like Splenda. We use if for coffee.
If you want something healthier than use xylitol but that is not calorie free.

No one asked whether or not you considered sweeteners to be "poison." They're not, of course. Poison is toilet bowl cleaner, or rat poison. Not something that zealots falsely label as poison.

Did you know that studies have shown that low carb dieters are 51 percent more likely to die from coronary heart disease, 50 percent more likely to die from cerebrovascular disease, and 35 percent more likely to die of cancer. Talk about poison.

I know you didn't ask. But OP didn't ask your opinion of sweeteners, either.

I found KLP xylitol in KRM this year.
I'm not a fan of overusing sweeteners but Pesach goodies and drinks use so much sugar I wanted to cut it down a little.
Also from different sweeteners I tried, xylitol has the best results for baking.

Thanks for pointing this out. I spent $20 on a bag of Xylitol for Pesach thinking it's zero calorie.
What a bummer.

Coconut sugar is supposed to have a low glycemic index (those very sensitive people may want to try it out & test their blood sugar afterwards.) I found it for Pesach.

100x over coconut sugar. Best taste and texture in all baked goods. Natural as sugars can be. Sub 1:1 ratio.

I love it!

Sad
At least it's healthier than aspartame.

I saw Lieber's sweetener from Stevia in the stores. They have 2 kinds, one with sucralose (Splenda) and one with Stevia.

It's Liebers brand, called Stevia Sweetees. It's a bag of 100 individual packets. Hope this helps!

Where on earth are you getting your numbers from? You made this up. And, say it to my face, amother. Have some courage to stand up to your convictions. Thanks for the awesome laugh out loud!

All the best, from your no longer diabetic, clear from the cardiologist, clear from the neurologist and cancer free friend who is 90 pounds lighter and maintaining.

I shopped in Brooklyn and live in Monsey. I'm not going to Brooklyn to return it๐Ÿ˜€
I used it in place of sugar in my apple pear compote. I made a batch with sugar and one with equal amounts of xylitol and they both taste similar. My DH said I wouldn't be able to tell the difference if I didn't say anything.
I'm going to do the same experiment with cake . I'll use one with sugar and one with xylitol and we will compare.

These are probably not "healthier" but honey or date syrup are good for sweeteners.

Perhaps even mashing a banana into your baked goods might help.

I wouldn't know how to substitute them for sugar in an existing recipe though.
