DD8 is allergic to nuts, eggs, coconut, dairy. She is miserable all pesach long. Lots of the foods that I make for everyone, she can't have. I try to make substitutes that are similar but it doesn't work for a lot of things.
I'm looking for ideas for breakfast, sides, desserts. Also, if there's a way to make blintzes without eggs, she would LOVE that!! Please help a hungry girl get through pesach happily. It really means a lot to her mommy
Thanks!

Do you use quinoa? That's your best bet.
Look for nut free vegan recipes maybe

Does she like avocado? Fruits? Veggies?
You can make her sorbet out of lemon or pinapple.
Baked apple.
Grilled pineapple slices.
Baked potato wedges.
Chips out of sweet potato and potato.
Dip fruits into melted chocolate.
Maybe try using cooked sweet potato or mashed potatoes as a base for pancakes, add potato starch etc. Maybe even add cocoa to it to make it more like a treat. Coat with sugar.

Blondies
6 tablespoons oil
1 1/2 cup brown sugar
1 cup cake meal
3/4 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon vanilla
3/4 cup grated coconut
2Tbsp. potato starch
1/2 cup water
Bake 325 for 25-30 minutes 9X13 pan
I think this could work with some chocolate chips instead of coconut

assuming you use other products on pesach, Look up recipes from aip - autoimmune paleo - other than coconut it doesn't use those ingredients
Some blogs: unbound wellness, mickey trescott, and on Instagram autoimmunepaleo

Google eggless crepes. I'm sure you can use matzah cake meal instead of flour. Or use between 1/2 - 2/3 cup potato starch instead of 1 cup flour.
Good luck - you're a wonderful Mommy!
Do you need an egg free potato kugel recipe?
Avocado mayonnaise?
Don't forget froze fruit ice pops as a treat!
Chocolate pudding

She's a chocoholic so those 2 chocolate recipes look great! Thanks!
I have an egg free potato kugel recipe. I usually use gf flour, I substituted potato starch, hope that works out. THey're already in the freezer.
I would LOVE a recipe for avocado mayo. If you have time to post it, that would be wonderful. Thank you!

I posted in another thread that I make my similar allergic child sorbet and fruit crumbles for dessert. Fruit crumble can be any fruit on bottom, with a mix of sugar, oil, potato starch and cinnamon on top. Bake until fruits are soft. Yum.
As far as meals, BH mine is not a picky eater. He's happy to eat all the soups, proteins, salads and vegetable side dishes which are almost all foods he can eat. I make very few kugels altogether. I also make matbucha and guacamole for dipping matzah into.
During chol hamoed it's pretty much the same. Plus I make tuna salad without mayo, just tuna mixed with finely diced vegetables or pickles, and spices.
ETA I think my DS doesn't feel deprived because I basically plan menus for the entire family around what he can eat. No one needs all the other foods, so I don't see a reason to include them if I can't accommodate him at the same time.

This.
I was that starving, miserable allergic child - eggs dairy, fish, nuts and didn't want to be meaty all the time. And to be fair, it wasn't because everyone else was having loads of treats and I wasnt - we are very strict with products, no gebrokts, we didnt do any baking anyway. For years, I absolutely hated Pesach, with a passion.
Now I do Pesach at home, and also have a child with the same allergies as me, and we're all happy. Besides salmon, and the foods I know he doesnt like anyway, I make all food that he can have. I cater to him and the rest of the family and guests eat the same as him. I do the same thing all year - practically every single one of my desserts is something he can have, even with all his restrictions, and still delicious to serve to company, so he never has to feel deprived.

Thank you! I have no problem with egg mayo, but I adore avocados and I can see this becoming a wonderful dip as well as a condiment. As a base it has enormous potential.
