I'd like to make one recipe of cake or brownies but get two smaller cakes out of it. Can I bake a regular brownie recipe in two 8x8 instead of one 9x13?
I'm looking for a super easy, no mixer, delicious option. I currently use Miriam Pascal's brownie recipe (delicious!!) and wonder if I can bake it in two 8x8s instead of a 9 x13 and if the baking time differs.

Yes. Just check it a few minutes earlier with the toothpick test.
