Hi, I am looking for a challah recipe that I can make the dough Thursday night and then bake it on Friday. If anyone has one or any tips on how to do it, I would be most thankful.
Thanks in advance

Refrigerate dough immediately after kneading. Do not let it rise.
Cover with loose tablecloth and it will rise very slowly in the fridge overnight.
Punch down on Friday, cover with towel and allow to come to room temperature before braiding (this will take hours since dough will be cold).

I do it all the time! Put dough in fridge immediately after kneading and leave overnight. Warm up on counter before braiding:)

Thank you so much. I am going to try my usual recipe tonight and see how it goes. CBG that recipe looks really interesting. I will definitely get that flour and try it.

You don't need special flour for it, there are many no knead recipes
