Squishy recipe for Moroccan lamb please! Do you have a real tagine to cook it in?

We're going to have Asian style chicken and a meat & potatoes stew.
Not sure what to make for shalosh seudos.

What’s your recipe for the Moroccan roast pepper salad?

Squishy, it seems to fit into your scheme for this Shabbos!

I know. I got in a mood with the kitchen gadget thread and have been playing with my tangine.

I go through these international phases. A month from now could be Japanese.

I do have a real tangine. It makes a gorgeous table presentation as well as enabling the food to cook with less oil.

If you are thinking of getting one, one get it from a country with strict regulations, so you aren't eating lead. No Chinese tangines. Mine is European, and they aren't expensive. Make sure you season it first.

I will have to write down the recipe, but I will get it to you.

Yes, that was such a fun thread!

Your international phases sound fascinating. If and when you are in the mood, can you write down which cuisines you have mastered? And how have you gotten the original taste of them?

I will get it to you. The recipe is written down by hand. I need to type it up or figure out how to send pictures.

Simple food - chicken soup in the IP (so just with bones but the IP makes it taste very rich!), Roasted chicken with potatos (gold and sweet), Fish for dh - he like jarred g. Fish so thats easy! Maybe a small potato kugel because my kids beg for it.

Lunch - apple kugel, chicken again, salad, fish for dh. Hearts of palm salad (teenager asked for it).

I got ice cream for dessert. I’ve been sick and at work still all week, I cant deal with more.

My SIL's mother was born in Morocco. She was once at my house for Pesach, and blackened peppers (red, green, and yellow) till they blistered and skins slid off. She then chopped the peppers and made a salad. I recall she had chopped garlic in there, but don't remember the rest.

I'd love a recipe if this is what you mean! I have a few peppers in my fridge....

We're having a very traditional Shabbos menu. Nothing innovative, everything delicious.

Just want to thank ra_mom. I started making your easy oven farfel a couple of weeks ago, and it's fantastic!
So thanks!

I would love to learn to make Persian rice! I heard it’s amazing, but I never tasted it myself.

And I don’t even know what choresht is - what is it?

This thread is so much fun. Thank you to everyone who is contributing to it!

I make farfel in the oven . I don't know RA mom's recipe but this one is mine.

1 pack Ferencz farfel (brown label not the blue and red )
1 diced onion
Oil ( a few tablespoons)
1 frozen crushed garlic
Sprinkle sweet paprika, ground black pepper and salt to taste.
Put all ingredients in a 9 x13 disposable pan.
Add 2 cups boiling water
Cover pan and bake on 350 for about 25 min to a half hour.
You can also do it without the diced onion.
