My son's yeshiva did not send ouT anything yet.
I want to shop for pants and shirts.
Do the boys wear mostly dark pants? Jeans? Tshirts? What on earth should I be buying?

Some schools only allow polo or button down shirts.
Ask the school.

In some schools the boys dress in loud colors. I can identify certain chassidish schools by seeing the boys.
OP - your best bet is to go see the boys in the school.

Most schools I know- no jeans. Different schools have different policies about colored (not black, blue, Grey pants) so you'll want to ask.
Most schools day no words, no big logos on shirt. Most insist on collar and buttons (button down or polo) but some allow mandarin color.
If you say which school, some women here might know the rules.

My sons school doesn’t have many rules for primary.
No jeans
No words or pictures on clothing
No large logos
No super tight pants.
Yes to shorts, light colored pants, t-shirts with no collars.
But they aren’t very strict with the rules in primary.
