A few people mentioned adding essential oils to their a/c vent. Can you elaborate? I googled it and it seems it is a safe thing to do but I'm curious how often you do it etc. Different sites recommended different amounts of drops. I am desperate for an easy way to make my house smell better without a million sprays or plug ins and I'm interested in hearing your experiences.
Tia!

I posted that I sprinkle essential oils on the filter in my main unit. I probably use about 15 drops each time and it lasts most of the day. I've never tried on vents.

Ok thanks. One of the sites mentioned that it lasts for a few weeks, trying to figure out how that works.

I either drop them directly into the vents when lazy (my vents are on the floor), or I soak cotton balls and rub them on and in between the slats.
