Got anything you translated and you were like, TMI Surprised LOL Banging head ?

I got a message from one of the parents in my sons class and this is what it said, "hola mamas como estan." etc... On my translate app it translated as (warning: a little dirty for some folks)
Hidden:

"hey, blowjobs like that." Surprised
etc..

A few years ago, I saw a sign in Yerushalayim warning of ignorance on the road. No, it wasn't refering to the terrible driving habits we all know and love (to hate) - it was a (mis)translation of בורות בכביש.

Our cleaner came down with kidney disease. It was so sad and she end up moving out of town to have access to affordable medical care. We really miss her and pray for her wellbeing.

When she was trying to explain what was wrong with her she sent me a text message through her translating app.

The situation is very sad. And while I got the gist of it, the text had me scratching my head.

Yesterday I went to the.hodpital.me they did exams and they told me that I'm bouncing protein from my body in the urine because of problems in the kidneys I need to find a doctor for cabesera why my eyes and the addomen inchan.

I'm not sure why, but next to the new train station next to CBS in Jlm the signs all have an arrow and say
Quote:

Kiss & Ride

I wish I had a picture!

I was in Israel for a visit.
On Shabbos we ate out at a simcha.
One OOT guest wanted more fish sauce (kutchenyu), and asked of the waiter for more:
Mayim Shel Dagim!

A sign in a Geula pizza place: 'Pizza with Fungus'!!! This was before Google Translate so I guess someone looked up 'pitriyos' (mushrooms) and the dictionary listed fungus. Yum!

Funniest one on a bottle of wine, translation of "Bli Cheshash Orlah" (no concern of it being Orlah):

Hidden:

"Without any concern of foreskin"

YES! I saw those they day they came out!
You would think the government would get it right; I mean it's not like there's a lack of english speaker olim in this country.

Also..what does it mean, like for real?

Believe it or not, that's an actual sign that's used in the US. It means stop, say goodbye for a moment to your spouse or kid, and drive on...

Autocorrect has me cracking up on a regular basis. Suggested spellings for Hebrew and Yiddish words come out quite funny. Very Happy

Common side effects:

Blisters.
Redness.

blood flood.
Ice Cream
.
Itching
Peeling my skin

The blood flood sounds pretty scary, but hey, there's ice cream! Ice cream

If anyone doesn't know, the actual translation is, hello mothers, how are you.

LOL it's funny, I've never seen in in NY. But growing up I had a friend in NJ and they would drop me off by NJ transit and there was a kiss and ride sign there which looked so funny to me.

If you Google it, you'll find pictures of them.

Literally the Hebrew means "descend and ride" but I would have translated it park and ride in English.

Regarding the Kiss and Ride, schools here often have that (נשק וסע) so it seems someone translated that directly for what would otherwise be called a Drop Off Point in English.
