What do you cover your hair with if you go swimming? A regular bathing cap?

A pre tied bandana.
There's also a special swim bandana made from bathing suit material.

I got myself the bandana made from bathing cap material. It was the first time since I got married that I truly felt comfortable swimming. It doesn’t slip off

My regular pretied bandana feel off when I was doing a somersault in the pool. Embarrassing!

the frum stores sell a covering especially for swimming, its thinner than a bathing cap, different material tho waterproof and it fits on like a cap and does not fall off

Swim cap with a swim pretied when I’m at the beach or other "hang-out" situation. Only a swim cap when I’m doing laps.

Nothing. I swim with my hair exposed. I workout that way too.

lets be mutually respectful and please lets not hijack a simple thread

All the pools I’ve been to here insist that all long hair must be covered. I try to cover my hair at all times. Exercise is no different.

I don't think anyone is concerned about another women seeing her hair, many people don't like to swim with their hair open - it's simply not comfortable to constantly be pushing wet hair out of your eyes. And most pools I go to do not allow it. Would you want to find hairs in the pool? ew.

Many pools and most daycamps require everyone to wear a bathing cap or hair covering. It's disgusting not to, there's hair floating all over the pool.
