What should be a quick, cheap, and effective skin routine for a teen who has blackheads and pimples?
Facials - how often? A regular one or any specific type? Are all places created equal when it comes to facials?
Daily - moisturizer, SPF? Cleanser? What companies? (Remember the cheap part)
2-3 times/week - apricot scrub?
Any magic face soaps?

I'm gonna continue spreading what I know about facial care! Hope it helps! (I've been very very busy with this over the past few months lol).
For a face wash- look for anything where the active ingredient is 2% salicylic acid, hydraulic acid, or glycolic acid (fun fact: these are called "AHA's"). My favorite is aveeno. Anyone who I recommend it to loves it!
For spot treatment- anything where the active ingredient is 10% benzoyl peroxide. My fave- clearasil.
For moisturizer- neutrogena hydro boost.
If there are really stubborn spots, go to a dermatologist and get a prescription for tretinoin.
Drink lots of water.
If you want to exfoliate, only do it 1x a week at most, and GENTLY PLEEEAAAASE! AHA's exfoliate the skin, so you really dont want to overdo it. Use a facial brush very softly.
Facials aren't necessary, but they are totally super fun and feel heaven!

Thanks!!
Can you please post a pic or a link of Aveeno face wash?
So really, the only musts are a face wash and a moisturizer? Twice a day?

Apricot scrub is not good for the skin. I read a very detailed article about this recently, but don't remember where. A warm wet washcloth is enough for exfoliating your skin, without being too harsh.

If she has blackheads and pimples, Proactiv really works. You don't have to do the subscription thing. You can try to find big bottles of the toner and repair creams on eBay or Amazon - check expiration dates.

Yes that's all! Plus 10% benzoyl peroxide when needed. You can get away with moisturizing once daily.
