Can someone tell me the popular medicaid insurances in Lakewood, NJ that the frum doctors/OBGYNs take.
I'm from Brooklyn so familiar with UHC community and fidelis. Do those exist in Jersey?
If anyone else has relocated, can you fill me in on how medicaid differs (if it does) in terms of coverage in Jersey?
Also, what is JerseyCare? Is that a Jersey Medicaid?

Jersey care is NJ Medicaid
Im not so educated in this field but what I do know is this.
UHC changed their policy and a lot of doctors in Lakewood are not taking UHC anymore. I hear Amerigroup doesnt cover a lot of Therapy and should rather go Aetna. But I hear CHOP only takes UHC.

Most OB's take United Healthcare and Amerigroup (These are HMO's of Jersey Care, which is NJ State Medicaid) You can always change your HMO if it's not working for you.

Thanks for the references.
So aetna is a medicaid in Jersey? How does wellcare stack up to UHC and Amerigroup?
Who are the popular internists and OBs in Jersey for the Frum community. I'm starting from scratch so any info on this would be helpful.
