Of course the above isn't a diagnosis, and you should still take her to the doctor/ dermatologist to rule out other causes, but it doesn't hurt to treat for yeast in the meantime.

Sounds like candida overgrowth.
Ime, the itching can be really bad from candida and her worse overt time if it isn't taken care of. Also, at night most ailments her worse.
There is a supplement called "candex".
She should try that with a strong probiotics. Both should be taken between meals.

Keep away from sugar and carbs add much as possible.
But definitely do some bloodwork to rule out anything more serious. And see the dermatologist. To have all your basis covered.
