With food. Just me and dh. Really dont want to travel to Catskills or Connecticut. Any ideas?

Avenue plaza hotel. They give breakfast. I think for shabbos you have to order food to eat in the room.
Sorry, no kosher hotels which is why people drive to The Catskills.

if you want to be real $$ saving since these events aren't cheap - would you buy shabbos in a box from a takeout store? and bring your own hotplate and papergoods...
we once did that, and stayed in a hotel walking distance to a shul. about 1/2 hr from lakewood
you can go to hotelsnearshuls.com to find one if you want to do this. you will be stuck in your hotel room all shabbos unless your comf leaving door unlocked when u leave the room, or doing the rope idea we did. it was actually really really relaxing
