Has anyone eaten here?
We are looking for a besari restaurant in Manhattan.
Not looking for anything upscale - just decent food, with an option for deli, that is not too expensive or fancy.

Many times. (Though not in last couple years). Extremely un-fancy. But quite tasty and doesn’t cost a fortune. The very varied menu has worked well for our family. Kids can get burgers or Chinese, DH gets his deli and I get great, fresh salads.

I will say just because I have the opportunity, they are super mentshlich. Twice I was in the hospital nearby and my husband went to get shabbos food(instead of whatever was left on bikor cholim room). The first time they heard I was in hospital the guy packed up extra a massive box of cookies(which are surprisingly good there!) That really made my night(I ended up having to fast on shabbos, it was broken on those cookies!) for thoughtfulness.
A year later and more recently my husband made an order which they at least doubled threw in random goodies that ended up being critical when we were abruptly transferred on shabbos to hospital w/o a bikor cholim room and very limited food options. It was really hashgacha.
No, it isn't fancy, but the food is good and the owner/manager deserves all the business in the world! (I was loyal customer working near there for years before, but this did reinforce it clearly)

Slateblue, that is truly beautiful! Wow!
I was just going to say that it sounds right for OP's needs regarding simple fleishig fast-food. I did not know the rest too.

If for any reason Kosher Deluxe doesn't work out, Mr. Broadway could be another option.

So we did end up eating at Kosher Deluxe.
It was fine overall. The set-up was a bit confusing to us 'non-locals' at first but we managed.
Food was good but the black and white cookie was stellar.
