I heard that lubavitch don't decorate their succah. what is the reason for this?

The reason is because the sukkah has its own beauty- in a spiritual sense and therefore does not need any other decorations.
A little story:
Someone was once in the Sukkah and was making rhymes: he said s'chach - lach (laugh in yiddish) and the Rebbe - I believe it was the 6th Lubavitcher Rebbe said: " Di schach lacht fun dir - the schach is laughing at you."
Just to show us how holy the sukkah and schach are!! They are not just walls and leaves covering us.

I am not lub and in my fathers house he does not put anything other than pictures on the walls, he says would you put sparkling streamers inside your house? its suppose to be like your "home" so to speak so why hang weird shiny things from the ceiling.

My favorite part of succos is the decorations which I all made on my own.

We don't decorate our sukka, as Lubavitch minhag goes, but the little art 'n crafts my sis and bros do, we'll hang it up.
We also have an ushpizin chart, including those of the chabad rebeim.
When guests come over, who are not Lubavitch and they bring a little decoration, we'll hang it up as well.
We don't bedafka decorate it.

we put up art crafts done by our kids, and the broche, and photo's of rabanim, and fruit and flowers - we actually let the children put up everything
