So I was searching through the archives and came upon cookies and cream pie (because no one responded to my mini trifle thread Exploding anger) Anyway, I got conflicting accounts from people of how to make it.

Any ideas?

Do you whip or not whip the whip? Smile

I have a choc. graham crust, oreo-type cookies and whip. What do I do?

Ok, so one says to whip and the other says not to whip. Do both turn out well?

Why wouldn't you whip? Whip is meant to be whipped...hence the name....

You got it. Real meat-eaters don't just restrict their carnivorous pleasures to the meal. Dessert is another opportunity to enjoy it:

C's Meat-lover's Pie

One prebaked piecrust
1/2 lb. ground beef
1/2 lb. ground turky
1/2 lb. chicken breasts, pounded flat
1/4 cup duck fat, melted
1/2 cup sugar
Smoosh together. Bake. Top with Rich's Whip. Serve and enjoy!

I use 2 8oz. whips (unwhiped) with the broken cookies in one pie shell. It's worked for me in the past but maybe whipped up it has a diffrent texture-I don't know. I've had it at people's houses and served it as well and this way turns out fine. I'm definately not insulted if you want to try whipping it, don't worry Very Happy

Decorate with slices of salami and curls of chicken skin fried in remaining schmaltz.

heres another easy one
jello pie
1 package jello
1 graham cracker pie crust
1/2 container already whipped whipped cream

prepare the jello. pour it into the crust when it is cooled put the whip cream on top and its all ready. I find this dessert goes really well with kids teenagers and even adults!

I buy the smackin good ready whipped cream. they sell it in all the heimishe stores in ny. it is a little more money than a richs whip but it saves the time and dirty bowl of whipping your own cream
