I wash them so often but the smell doesn’t come out. Maybe the bathroom isn’t ventilated enough but how can I get rid of the smell from the towels? I don’t see any obvious mold spots.

Wash then with bleach or white vinegar

They need to be washed on sanitized cycle each time. If you don't have that on your machine then wash on hottest setting, longest cycle and add Lysol laundry sanitizer in the slot that's meant for fabric softener.

Baking soda and vinegar directly into the load besides detergent in the drawer. Also make sure they're completely dry. Sometimes I need to put towels in to dry for a 2nd cycle.

Try a few drops of tea tree oil in the load

I add vinegar into the fabric softener with every load of towels I do, whether they smell or not. This has gotten rid of the smell in the past and prevents it. Haven't had any smells since I've started doing it
