Can we list all fun places with animals? Great zoos, petting farms, and other animal activities that kids love.
I'll start.
Whitepost Farms on Long Island is awesome for little ones up to age 10. Very hands on.

Noah's Park Retreat in Goshen, NY (about half hour from Monsey.) You need to make an appointment. Super awesome experience, you get to be really hands on and learn about some really interesting creatures.

Maritime aquarium in Norwalk. Includes an Imax. We went with all ages and everyone enjoyed.
Brookhollow barnyard in Boontoon. Cute farm where you can feed the animal and go on a hay ride and has some play areas. Good for younger kids

The tanachi zoo in Yerushalaim is nice but a lot of walking so bring strollers.
The Safari in Ramat Gan is a lot of fun.

Agam Hai Yiron - you can paddle around in a little lake where animals are also hanging out. Picnic areas, etc. Found it on the way up to Etzbah Hagalil.
HaChavah shel Chava. Petting zoo, small non-petting zoo, goat milking demos, kibbutz train, picnic grounds, etc. Central Israel.
