Hi Ladies! I need a new camera for basic use like taking pics of kids etc. I have no idea what to look out for? Can any of you help me with a recommendation of a good basic camera? What model should I be looking out for? A PowerShot Camera?
Would love to find a camera in the $200 range but my priority is clear and crisp pictures! Up until now I used my Iphone Camera and loved it...
Any advice would be welcome!

If you have a late model iphone I am not sure a cheap camera would be better...My husband (who is into photography) has an Iphone 10 and uses it for basically all his photos. He also has an expensive camera but he uses it less and less. Basically it lacks a zoom but thats it.

Unfortunately, my iphone broke and I replaced it with a galaxy and camera is just not comparable... hence, I'm looking for a camera. I would gladly stick to my iphone. I loved it.

Yes, Canon Powershot is probably your best option. I think you will be happy with the picture quality.

Any phone is better than a point and shoot under 200 dollars.
Just get a better phone.
DH is a photographer. This is his advice.

I am fine spending a bit more if there are no good options in that price range.
Which camera would be best all around camera for everyday use?
