Which dishwasher do you have and recommend, whirlpool or ge?
Do you have a stainless basin?
Does the drain get clogged and need to be cleaned out often? I have a plastic basin whirlpool right now which always has gook on the bottom and I always feel like I have to clean it. Yuk.

I have a stainless whirlpool. I don't even know what the basin is - the whole interior is stainless. I'm very happy with it. It does get gunk at the edge, where the door meets the basin, once in a while and I clean it out with some paper towel.
It wasn't a high-end dishwasher - I think it was under $400, but I got it on a Black Friday special 2 years ago...and it suits my needs perfectly B"H.
