I want to make sweet potato pie & the recipe calls for a frozen pie crust. I already have one that is deep dish; will that be ok or is it the wrong size since the recipe doesn't specify that it should be deep dish?
What do you think?

Yes, Nicole. I guess what I'm trying to say is: Does anyone have a good recipe for sweet potato kugel?
I'll start a new thread so I don't hijack this one.

Spray pan, and/or line with paper.
arrange 1/2 in raw slices in round pan, nicer if they overlap a bitadd pineapple slices or chunks--or slices of orange
another layer of sweet potatoes
cinnamon + ginger
brown sugar if you want
beat eggs over the whole concoction
decorate with candied pecans
delish
If you want less eggs, use preboiled mashed sweet potatoes, press pineapple into it
or even simpler: arrange slices of sweet potato on cookie sheet or pan, sprinkle oil, cinnamon, brown sugar. Bake med temp. Can also drizzle some orange juice for the tang.
