Looking to build a comprehensive referral list of child psychiatrists, psychologists, and neurodevelopmental pediatricians for all ages. I’m a Special Education Advocate & Consultant mainly in NJ & NY. I have some resources but would like to be expand this list in order to help others obtain the evaluations needed by competent and highly recommended professionals.

If you know of anyone that you would recommend to a friend, please post their name, location, specialty and if you have had personal experience or know of someone who has. If they take insurance and fees would be helpful. If not, I don’t mind doing the leg work to find out what the out of pocket cost or insurances accepted are as well as average wait time for appointments.

Also, if you know of any other professionals and subspecialties you would like to add, feel free to post your recommendations including therapy centers, reading specialist, behavioral assistants, vision therapists, etc... there are many resources out there. I’m looking for people with competence and heart that would be able to help our children.

I will compile the list and will post it here for everyone to have as a reference.

Please note, this list can and should include professionals not limited to the NJ/NY areas so it can become an invaluable resource to everyone.

TIA!

May we see all of our children grow to their potential and into the best version of themselves ❤️

Some autistic children may be eligible for All opwdd services. Hamaspik (tri count care) are the best agencies to help you apply for opwdd eligibility. (And Medicaid)
