Where can 8 adults, 8 children, go for Shabbos Chanukah, thats within an hour driving distance from NYC, and reasonable (so not a hotel Chanukah program), and Shabbos-doable (minyan, food-warming)?
Does anything exist?

I assume that anything thats a program, where youre paying per person, is expensive. Im more than happy to bring my own food, I just need a place for all of us (a motel thats Shabbos-friendly, where id have use of a room for meals, near a Minyan).

Large house is fine (nothing further upstate than Monsey though). How do you get one for a weekend?

Did you look at air Bnb?
I have no concept of the cost.
I just think 8 adults and 8 kids in a motel doesn't sound like a pleasant get-away... mainly because of memories of being stuck in motels over Shabbat.

Look at Reserve Kosher, AirBNB, Lakewood Hosts, and Hotels Near Shuls, but that weekend is smack in the middle of the secular holiday season, so a lot of places will already be taken or sold out.

Your best bet is renting a house in Lakewood or Monsey.
