Follow up question:
Imamothers who have visited israel-
Is it true that Verizon's service is very bad?
Is it worth it to just do a SIM card instead of doing a plan with verizon?

Idon't know about the service, but the cost is very expensive paying $10 per day. Sim cards are cheaper and have lots of options re cost.

3 years ago it worked fine. I liked that it was my regular number and WhatsApp worked and for my bigger kids they knew the number so it was easier for them.

I used an Israeli sim card, had an israeli number, but my whattsapp was still my american number and worked fine.
