Hi all,
My husband and I are currently living somewhere we don't really fit in in brooklyn. We likely wont be able to move for at least 3 more years- but im inquiring a little now. We are looking for a RWMO community in nj/close to ny- so we can have a sense of community, as well as be close to family. I'm wondering if you can share about your experience, if applicable. Additionally would love to hear about nearby schools for elementary and how friendly/social you feel the community is.
Thanks so so much!

Teaneck? I don't think it's all RWMO but for sure there are some that fit that description. Maybe others who are more familiar can confirm?
Or maybe Elizabeth?

There are areas of Bergenfield that are Rwmo but the schools are a mixed bag. There’s supposed to be a more rw boys elementary school opening up.
Check out Passaic definitely. Sounds like what you’re looking for. It’s basically where right wing YU and landers families go when they outgrow Apt life.

Part of Bergenfield.
I would consider RYNJ right wing, but that is relative to myself. For high school you would have Naaleh and Heichel Hatorah.
I imagine Clifton / Passaic might be a better fit.
It depends on how RW you are looking.
Go for Shabbos and check out the communities.

Look into Highland Park, and Rabbi Pesach Raymon Yeshiva.

Rynj is right wing but the students are a mixed bag. Some are coming from not as right wing a home and may expose your children to more than you want.

My impression is that Fair Lawn has had a lot of young RWMO couples moving in recently
