Hi, I just got those mini muffin pans and would like to make some muffins for shabbos. I know the carrot muffin recipe and love it but would like something new.
I would love blueberry muffins - but can you use frozen blueberries? Do they come out weird? How about banana muffins or zucchini, or anything else really.
Surprise me please!!!
(Also, I saw the poppy mini muffin recipe and while it sounded yummy, a) it's milchig and b)due to allergies, dh can't eat so many poppy seeds)
So anything else please!

Are you talking about the package of frozen Bodek blueberries? You can definitely use those in your baking. I use them all the time and it comes out great.
I think for blueberry muffins, you would use a regular muffin recipe and just add blueberries.

ok thanks anon. I'll try it. I have frozen berries and tried them - but not in baking and they tasted weird, but I'll try with these muffins.

Yeah, I wouldnt' eat the frozen blueberries plain.
But I have used frozen strawberries, sliced, to put on top of strawberry shortcake and I thought that it tasted good.
