What is going on? Do the stores have matza? Should I wait or pick up what I can get now?

Bake your own. You are home anyway and it takes less than 18 minutes.

Get what you can. The matza bakeries may not have enough ppl to bake the matza.

You can't make kosher matzah with regular flour.

The stores have, but don't wait. Buy now because they will run out. I don't know if the matza bakery is baking anymore before pesach.

NPGS Jackson has a lot.
Call them before you go to make sure.

For Seder too?

Someone needs to post every kulah they’re seeing. I’m going to need all of them! (10 weeks pregnant, husband and I (my parents too) both have CV, first time being home in 25 years, have absolutely nothing yet)

How many private homes have the right type of oven

One small mistake and it is CHOMETZ GOMUR DOREISA

chas v sholom better to not have matza than to eat chometz

One is a positive mitzva

One is an issur karas...

I may need to use machine matz this year

Absolutely not!
Please do not tell people to do this or you might cause them to eat chometz including ruining their pesach dishes and cutlery!

Yekkes only use machine matzah. For the Seder my grandfather only used machine shmurah.

This is a question for your rav, everyone holds different. But there is machine shmura matza available, if that's what you meant.

I was surprised to hear that the matzah bakery we usually buy from is completely sold out. Very nerve wracking.

We can't get to a store as both of us were sick (not tested) and the stores aren't doing online orders.

This whole thing is crazy. We were from the "chilled eh were not stocking up" people and I now regret it.

Yes. Some yekes (like us) consider hand matzah b’deved and only eat machine matzah - including the Seder.
We only eat shmura 18 minute machine matzah the entire pesach.

Try other stores. Unless there are none.
Small stores are more likely to deliver.
You can do curb side pickup with a taxi.
